SF Kids Collaborative is a locally led collective of families, providers, and agencies dedicated to improving the lives of families of children with special health care needs in San Francisco.

Our vision

By amplifying the voices of families and building collaboration between families of children with special health care needs, providers, and local agencies, we strive to improve the system serving these families while creating a replicable impact model that improves lives throughout our city and beyond.

Collaborative Structure

SF Kids Collaborative is comprised of over 200 collective members including more than 20 families representing children and youth with special health care needs and centering experiences of historically underserved families. The work of the collective is facilitated by staff from Support for Families and the Department of Public Health.

We’re seeking agencies that serve children and youth – regardless of whether they think of themselves as disability-focused – to support Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) in San Francisco.
